Harbor East Newcomer Serves Lebanese Cuisine with Flair
Wednesday May 16, 2007
Inner Harbor East is a mess these days. Roads blocked, construction vehicles everywhere. The rapidly changing Baltimore neighborhood, which will be home to the new Legg Mason corporate headquarters and a Four Seasons hotel, is not the ideal spot for a new restaurant right now. But a visit to waterfront location of Lebanese Taverna at the base of President Street is worth braving the construction confusion. Parking in the Inner Harbor and coming by foot is perhaps the way to go, though the new restaurant does have valet parking.
The restaurant's upscale Middle Eastern cuisine is a concept imported from the Washington, DC, area where the family-owned chain has eight other cafes and full-service restaurants. Read restaurant review.
