Behind the Scenes at the Circus
Ever wonder what life is like under the bigtop?
A free event at the Baltimore Museum of Art tonight will uncover some of those mysteries. As part of the museum's special exhibit, A Circus Family: Picasso to Leger, this evening's presentation features stories about life in the circus from those who live it. The presenters include Dominique Jando, a performer in Paris' legendary Cirque Medrano, and three Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey performers. That show is in in town, at the 1st Mariner Arena, until Sunday. It's one of many great April events in Baltimore.
"Behind the Scenes at the Circus," begins at 7:00 p.m. tonight, and is moderated by Circus Historical Society President Richard Flint. For more information, call 443-573-1832.
