Happy Father's Day everyone.

Saturday

  • Baltimore Pride - Sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center of Baltimore and Central Maryland, the Baltimore Gay Pride Celebration is two days of many events that take place in different parts of the city, including Mt. Vernon.
  • Playboy VIP Reception - Who needs to go to the mansion? For a mere $50 you can enjoy an open bar plus the 2009 June Playmate, 50th Anniversary Playmate, Playboy models, a body painting demo, and a fashion show. Mosaic Lounge at Power Plant Live! from 8 to 10 p.m.
  • Native Berry Festival - The 4th annual festival with BBQ, live music, games and crafts at Herring Run Park.

Sunday

  • Live concert series kicks off at Patterson Park - The self-proclaimed “Mayor of B-Town,” Big Daddy Stallings brings the real essence of the blues to Patterson Park. The Afro-American describes his sound as “Wonderful…the sound of Jimmy Reed seasoned with a little B.B. King." Free, 6:30 p.m. at the Pagoda in Patterson Park, near the intersection of Patterson Park Dr. and Lombard St.
