It's a very cultured weekend in Baltimore with literary, jazz and wine events happening around town.

Baltimore Book Festival - The 14th annual celebration of authors and the written word returns to Mt. Vernon. The free festival is held on the 600 block of N. Charles St., and is open from Noon to 8 p.m. (it closes at 7 p.m. on Sunday). The impressive list of writers who will be there include:

The organizers seemingly have thought of eveything. You can catch Sunday's Ravens game in a viewing area at the Moveable Mixtures trailer in the North Park. Here's the complete schedule for the weekend.
Saturday
Canton Wine and Jazz Festival - O'Donnell Square in Canton is the setting for this first-ever event that features two stages of live music, 11 table for wine tasting, and plenty of food and other activities, even for kids. Tickets are $30, which includes 10 wine tastings. The festival runs from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday
Viva Italia Concours D'Elegance car and motorcycle show - Rare, exotic, and luxurious Italian cars and motorcycles will be on display at the intersection of Exeter and Lancaster streets in Harbor East from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free to view these beauties, and there will be food, entertainment, and vendors on hand as well.
