Baltimore Taps Beer Week Tomorrow

From Mike Unger, About.com GuideOctober 7, 2009

Get your livers ready: the inaugural Baltimore Beer Week kicks off tomorrow.

The ceremonial first pour takes place at 6 p.m. aboard the USS Constellation. If you don't already have tickets, well then you won't be there to sip that frothy first pint. The event is closed to the public. But just two hours later, at 8 p.m., $10 gets you into the Brewers Association of Maryland Kickoff party at Pratt Street Ale House.

There are literally hundreds of events at bars and restaurants throughout the city during beer week, which actually runs from Oct. 8 to the 18th. Something tells me lots of folks will have serious hangovers on the 19th.
