Busy BWI

Follow me on:

If you've noticed more people at BWI lately, you're very perceptive.

Passenger traffic at the airport jumped 8.6 percent in October, outpacing other markets across the country that reported smaller gains or even drops in passenger volume, according to the Baltimore Business Journal. More than 918,000 passengers boarded a plane at the Anne Arundel County airport in October, according to BWI's monthly report, up from about 845,000 last October.

No surprise here: AirTran and Southwest posted the largest gains, 14.7 percent and 11.4 percent respectively.

I've flown a fair amount, and I find BWI to be in the middle of the pack in terms of convenience. What do you think? (I'm a big fan of Tampa International. It's the most pleasant airport I've flown through).
