Our National Aquarium in the Inner Harbor is one of the best in the country. But the fish don't come cheap - the aquarium is expensive.

That's why this promotion caught my eye. Through the end of this weekend (and thankfully, this miserably cold February comes to a conclusion on Sunday), the aquarium is offering a discount of $20.10 off the price of four Total Experience tickets purchased online.
They're calling it their "cabin fever" deal. Each regularly-priced Total Experience ticket (which includes admission, the 4D Immersion Theater and the dolphin show) costs $29.95 for an adult, $28.95 for a senior (age 60 and above) and $24.95 for children ages 3 to 11.
For a family of four (two adults and two kids), that adds up to $109.80 - not including food or a souvenir. The discounted price of $89.70 still is steep, but at least it's not three digits.
In order to get the discount, you have to register online or text MELTDOWN to 30644 before purchasing your tickets online.
