
Back by popular demand, The Polar Express will roll into the National Aquarium this November for a 20-minute show in the museum's 4D Immersion Theater. During the sensory experience, children and adults will can enjoy watching images leap of the screen while feeling the snow fall and smelling hot cocoa in the air. The film is based on the Caldecott Medal-winning children's book by Chris Van Allsburg, a story in which a young boy who doubts Santa Claus exists takes a train ride to the North Pole.
The movie will be screened daily at various times from November 16 through January 1, 2013. Tickets are $5 in addition to the general admission price. For more information and tickets, visit www.aqua.org.
