As the holidays approach, don't forget to spend some quality time with the furry members of your families. These events are sure to make tails wag this holiday season.

BARCS Holiday and Fun Pet Costume Contest
Sunday, December 2, 2 p.m.
Part of Fells Point Olde Tyme Christmas
Dress your furry friend in a holiday costume and enter this contest, which takes place on Broadway Square. Contestants will be judged on personality, uniqueness, and theme. The grand prize is a $50 gift card from the contest sponsor, Dogma. Runner up will receive a $25 gift card. All participants will receive samples and treats. More information is available on the Fells Point Main Street website.

This downtown hotel is welcoming furry friends and their families for an afternoon of holiday fun. The lobby will be transformed into a winter paradise for animals, complete with holiday treats and plenty of photo opportunities with Santa. The hotel is asking for a $20 donation for pictures with Santa, with all proceeds going to the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS).

Make taking a family walk with your dog an annual holiday tradition when The Symphony of Lights allows visitors to bring their dogs on a long walk through the 1.4 mile glowing spectacle of more than 75 holiday light displays.
