Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are a few ideas:

  • Gertrudes in Charles Village is hosting Krautfest, a Polish heritage event featuring an enormous buffet and polka music.
  • Saturday, The Creative Alliance at the Patterson is celebrating Elvis' birthday with a  night of ridiculous costumes, burlesque, and other entertainment.
  • Texture: The Person and Nature debuts at School 33 Art Center on Friday. A free reception will take place from 6-9 p.m.
  • The Reginald F. Lewis Museum will open a new art exhibition, Defining Moments, which features work by award-winning illustrator and Maryland native Bryan Collier.
  • On Sunday, build a Matisse-inspired wire and fabric sculpture at The Baltimore Museum of Art as part of their weekly family programing.

And next week, don't miss all the celebrations happening as the Everyman Theater opens its doors at a new location. More details in the January 2013 Events & Festivals listing.
