From Mike Unger:
Hey everyone, my name is Mike Unger, I'm About.com's Baltimore Guide.
I moved to Charm City in the winter of 2000. Five days after arriving in Fells Point from Tampa, I left my apartment to find my car buried under a mountain of snow. Seriously questioning my decision to leave sunny Florida, I was standing there dumbfounded when a stranger pulled up in a truck and offered to tow me out. I was home.
Baltimore is that kind of town. Since moving to Canton in 2002, I've enjoyed exploring the city's one-of-a-kind neighborhoods, top-notch bars and restaurants, and underrated museums. My hope is that you'll turn to this site for all the vital information you need to visit or live happily here, but also to discover lesser known gems that you may not have known about. Please don't hesitate to email me about anything, I'd love to hear what you treasure most about this great city we call Bawlmer.
