Founded in 1927, the Flag House & Star-Spangled Banner Museum is one of Baltimore's oldest museums. The museum is dedicated to telling the story of Mary Young Pickersgill, who made the enormous 30 x 42-foot flag that flew over Fort McHenry, inspiring Francis Scott Key to write the poem that became the National Anthem.
Hours: Tues.-Sat., 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. The last tour begins at 3:15 p.m.
Admission: Adults $7, age 65 and over $6, age18 and under, students with I.D.,military personnel with I.D. $5.
