Zion Lutheran Church

Established by German Lutherans in 1755, the current incarnation of Zion Lutheran was built over many years:

• The Sanctuary, 1807.
• The Parish Hall and Bell Tower, 1912.
• The Parsonage, 1912, and enlarged in 1922.
• Sexton's House, 1922.

Zion is the only church in Maryland to offer a weekly service in German, a tradition going back 250 years. The church also offers an English language service.
