While, of course, we all like to show Mom we love her all year long, Mother's Day is the opportunity to go all out. Problem is, sometimes it's hard to know exactly what she wants. This guide to Mother's Day in Baltimore can help you plan that special day and find the right Mother's Day gift.

  • Acqua - Linthicum - Champagne Mother's Day brunch for $34.95/adult, $16.95/child. Gift idea:Restaurant also offes cooking classes with its chef.
  • Corks - Federal Hill - Sundays in May Corks offers "Farmers Market Menu" and on Mother's Day the added bonus is a free glass of sparkling wine for moms. Chef scours local farmers markets for the freshest ingredients to creat a special multi-course menu for just $30.
  • La Tavola - Little Italy - Choose from two special, four-course menues for $34 or $44.
  • Morton's Steakhouse - Inner Harbor - The steak house offers a special pre-fixe menu for $59/person. Open from 1 - 9 p.m. Annapolis location has similar special.
  • Vin - Towson - Restaurant offers brunch and and special selections from its "New Spring Dinner Menu." Reservations are required.
  • Woodberry Kitchen - Clipper Mill, Hampden - An a la carte brunch from 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. offers local produce, seafood, meats, and farm fresh eggs. Dinner begins at 5 p.m.
