Miss Preakness

This Maryland college student and winner of a $1,500 scholarship attends all the events, smiling for the cameras and shaking hands. She is chosen the first week in May after an interview with three judges.

Entrants must be:

• 18 years of age;
• single and never married;
• attending any Maryland university, college or community college
• not an employees of or family member of an employee of Pimlico and Laurel Race Course or their concessionaires

Applications for the Miss Preakness contest are due April 18, 2008.
