What:
For the second year, Baltimore is hosting this February event that is a foodie's fantasy.The culinary expo features more than 150 exhibits of the kitchens and kitchen gear, 200 different wines and spirits and tastings many Baltimore-area restaurants. Visitors to the expo will find tasting booths and interactive cooking demonstrations with the celebrity chefs plus more than 20 interactive seminars in five different areas.
Among the celebrity chefs performing cooking demonstrations are Warren Brown of Food Networks Sugar Rush, Maria Liberati, author of The Basic Art of Italian Cooking and Michael Midgley from Bravo Networks Top Chef, as well as locals Tony Foreman of Cinghiale, chef and culinary writer John Shields of Gertrude's and Christopher Paternotte of VIN Restaurant in Towson.
Other events scheduled for the weekend, but separate from the expo, include a cocktail reception, dinner at Da Mimmo and a beer and oyster feast at Clipper City Brewing. Scroll down for details.

Chef Nancy Longo of Pierpoint Restaurant teaches budding chefs about pot stickers, egg rolls and tempura veggies during this hands-on, interactive seminar. Tickets include the cooking seminar, a take-home, mini cooking kit, chefs hat, apron and a copy of Kitchen Playdates by Lauren Bank Deen and recipes from Longo.A parent or guardian must be present during seminar.
