The Halloween Lantern Parade sounds great. Thousand of people carrying their own hand-crafted paper lanterns make their way through Patterson Park the Saturday before Halloween. You'd love to be part of the Halloween Parade.
Just one problem: no way you have time to go to one of Creative Alliance's lantern-making workshops to make your own lantern. Or maybe you have the time but not the artistic inclination. Either way that doesn't mean you can't be part of this unique event.

But I have not yet made my own lantern at one of Creative Alliance's workshops. While I appreciate the creative spirit behind it, for me it's always been a time issue.
Every year, we have brought our own lanterns, fashioned at the last minute from store-bought Halloween decorations.
