The annual Meet in the Street St. Patrick's Day celebration in Canton's O'Donnell Square is sponsored by the square's resident Irish bar and restaurant, Claddagh Pub. The other Canton Square bars and restaurants join in, and the result is Baltimore's most raucous St. Patrick's Day celebration. O'Donnell Street is shut down to traffic, so pedestrians - with beers in hand - rule the square. Outdoor beer tents, live music, and an Irish good time rule the weekend.
