Baltimore Beer Week is a celebration of all things suds in "The Land of Pleasant Living." Ten days of events at bars and restaurants throughout the city ensure that if you love beer, you'll love Baltimore Beer Week.
The event debuts this year from Oct. 8 to 18, 2009 (that's one long week)

Opening Tap Celebration
When: Oct. 8, 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Aboard the USS Constellation, 301 E. Pratt St.
Tickets: This event is not open to the public
Brewers Association of Maryland Kickoff Party
When: Oct. 8, 8 to 10 p.m.[/br]
Where: Pratt Street Ale House, 206 W. Pratt St.
Tickets: $10
Maryland Oktoberfest
When: Oct. 10, Noon to 8 p.m.
Where: Timonium Fairgrounds, 2200 York Rd.
Tickets: $18 in advance online, or $25 at the door
Beer Pioneers of Baltimore Luncheon
When: Oct. 12, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Bertha's, 734 S. Broadway
Tickets: $25. Reservations required. Call 410-327-5795 and ask for Bernard
Blues and Brews Night at the 8x10
When: Oct. 14, 8 p.m.
Where: The 8x10, 10 E. Cross St.
Tickets: $10, which includes one free Clipper City beer. Available at the 8x10 box office or online
Chesapeake Real Ale Festival
When: Oct. 17, 1 to 6 p.m.
Where: Pratt Street Ale House, 206 W. Pratt St.
Tickets: $35 per person, available online
