After a night full of cocktails, it might be hard to roll out of bed and greet the near year -- but these area restaurants are making the effort well worth it. Although there are many great brunch places around the city, many start the year by giving their employees the day off. The restaurants below, however, are offering special brunch menus to kickstart the new year (if you'd rather go out on New Year's Day, be sure to check out this list of restaurants serving New Year's Eve dinner).

Annoula's SoBo Cafe
6 W Cross St.
Annoula's SoBo Cafe will be open for brunch from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. to debut their first brunch under new ownership. According to the Baltimore Sun, diners can expect to see cannoli-stuffed pancakes, braised beef hash and ham, and leek and fontina omelets on the menu.
B&O American Brasserie
2 North Charles St., Baltimore
From 8 a.m. until 2:30, B&O American Brasserie will help New Years revelers cure their hangovers by hosting a wonderfully greasy brunch that also includes a Bloody Mary bar and other cocktails.
The Engineers Club
11 West Mount Vernon Place
If you're looking to ring in the New Year by doing some networking, The Engineers Club, which bills itself as "Baltimore's club for professionals," will have a brunch full of waffles, omelets, pastries, and more. Price for the brunch, which takes place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., is $30 for adults and $15 for children. Jackets are required.
1325 Key Highway
Little Havana, on the south side of the Inner Harbor, will be open for brunch at 11 a.m. on New Year's Day. Expect Cuban favorites such as sofrito scrambled eggs and fried eggs over rice and beans with picadillo, as well as specials on unlimited bloody marys and mimosas. The restaurant will then close for a week (Wednesday, January 2 through Sunday, January 10).
Wit & Wisdom
200 International Dr.
Starting at 7 a.m. and running until 2 p.m., Wit & Wisdom inside the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore in Harbor East will offer a seasonal holiday buffet featuring popular breakfast and lunch items, such as organic scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, seasonal salads, and hot entree selections. The buffet will cost $35 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under. Bottomless mimosas will also be available for $19.
Ze Mean Bean Café
1739 Fleet St.
Early risers will enjoy breakfast at Ze Mean Bean Café in Fells Point where doors will open at 9 a.m. Life jazz music will begin at 11:30 a.m. and is scheduled to fill the cafe until 2 p.m. The restaurants has a two-page menu that changes weekly, but some staples include crab benedict and vanilla French toast. Bloody Marys and mimosas are also on the menu.
