Baltimore Aquarium Tickets

Buying Baltimore Aquarium tickets can seem overwhelming. There are a multitude of ticket packages, prices, and venues from which you can purchase them. Don't fret - here's everything you need to know about buying your tickets to one of the greatest aquariums in the world.

Ticket Packages and Prices

There are three basic ticket packages available:

  • Total Experience - Admission + 4D Immersion Show + Dolphin show

Adults (ages 12-59): $29.95
Seniors (age 60+): $28.95
Children (ages 3-11): $19.95

Adults: $27.95
Seniors: $26.95
Children: $17.95

  • Basic Admission

Adults: $24.95
Seniors: $23.95
Children: $14.95

Aquarium Ticketing Policies

  • You may purchase tickets for up to 14 people in a single order
  • Special pricing is available for groups of 15 or more
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to your entry time

Where to Buy Tickets

  • At the aquarium - Advance tickets may be purchased at the Aquarium Ticket Center up to 30 days in advance. If buying tickets on the day of your visit, arrive as early as possible, and be aware that the tickets you purchase may not provide immediate entry into the building. On especially busy days, your ticket may not permit entry until several hours after the time of purchase.
  • On the aquarium's Web site. A service charge of $1.95 per ticket will be applied.
  • Ticketmaster. Tickets can be purchased online, by visiting a Ticketmaster outlet, or by phone:
    **Baltimore: 410-547-SEAT
    **Washington, D.C: 202-397-SEAT
    **Northern Virginia: 703-573-SEAT
    **Out of State: 1-800-551-SEAT

    A service charge of $3.00 per adult or senior ticket and $2.75 per child ticket will be added to admission costs along with a $2.00 processing charge. Ticketmaster tickets must be exchanged at the Aquarium Will Call window when you arrive for your visit.

    Hours

    Aquarium hours vary slightly by season, but most days it's open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with slightly shorter hours in the winter and extended hours on many Fridays.

    May and June 2009
    Mondays-Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    Fridays: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
    Saturdays: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
    Sundays: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    July and August 2009
    Mondays-Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    Fridays: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
    Saturdays: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
    Sundays: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

    ***Note: Visitors may tour the Aquarium for up to 1½ hours after the ticket center closes**

    Parking
    The Aquarium has no on-site parking. Discounted parking is available at Inner Harbor Garage/Central Parking (100 S. Gay St., 410-659-5825), just a short walk from the aquarium.

    Directions
    From points north via I-95

    • Follow I-95 South to Exit 57
    • Go straight through light at end of exit ramp on to Interstate Ave
    • Go straight through next light then pass under I-95. As road curves to the right, it becomes Boston St.
    • Follow Boston approximately 2 miles to Fleet St. (Royal Farms on corner), turn left
    • Follow Fleet St. approximately 1 mile to President St., turn right
    • Take President St. a half mile to Lombard St., turn left on Lombard using the far left turn lane
    • Turn left at Commerce Street
    • Turn left at Pratt Street. The aquarium is one block on the right, shortly before the ESPN Zone.

    From points north via I-83

    • Follow I-83 South toward Baltimore until expressway ends in Baltimore City
    • Turn right onto Lombard Street and stay in the left lane
    • Turn left at Commerce Street
    • Turn left at Pratt Street. The aquarium is one block on the right, shortly before the ESPN Zone.

    From points south via I-95

    • Follow I-95 North toward Baltimore
    • Take the I-395 North exit (Exit Number 53) toward downtown
    • Take I-395 North toward Downtown/Inner Harbor
    • Road divides, take left fork
    • I-395 becomes South Howard Street. You will pass Camden Yards, on the left
    • Turn right onto W. Pratt St.
    • Continue past Baltimore Convention Center and Harborplace, both on right. National Aquarium in Baltimore is on right, shortly before the ESPN Zone.

    From points west via I-70

    • Follow I-70 East
    • Exit to I-695 South (toward I-95/Glen Burnie)
    • Exit to I-95 North towards Baltimore
    • Follow I-95 North toward Baltimore
    • Take the I-395 North exit (Exit Number 53) toward downtown
    • Take I-395 North toward Downtown/Inner Harbor
    • Road divides, take left fork
    • I-395 becomes S. Howard St. You will pass Camden Yards, on left
    • Turn right onto W. Pratt St.
    • Continue past Baltimore Convention Center and Harborplace, both on right. National Aquarium in Baltimore is on right, shortly before the ESPN Zone.
