Harborplace

Opening in 1980, Harborplace set in motion the Inner Harbor's renaissance. The retail and dining complex is still going strong with its mix of local and national stores and a variety of restaurants. Made up of two buildings—Light and Pratt Street Pavilions—Harborplace is connected by a skywalk over Pratt Street to The Gallery, a four-story mall with upscale retail establishments. At the corner of Light and Pratt streets between the two pavilions, an amphitheater hosts street entertainers and musical acts in the warmer months. And Christmas at Harborplace means holiday lights, carolers, pictures with Santa and a whole lot of tubas.
