Palm House in Druid Hill Conservatory

The graceful, five-story structure of the Palm House in the Druid Hill Conservatory dates back to 1888. George Frederick, who designed Baltimore's City Hall and the Mansion at Cylburn Arboretum, was its architect. Mature palms block even its upper windows, making it one of the dimmer spots inside the sunny Conservatory.
