Public Markets & Grocery Stores

Baltimore has a great old-fashioned system of public markets, where people still buy meats, produce and the like at individual stalls. The best known one is Lexington Market. But, of course, most people just run out to the supermarket for their groceries. Either way, get local shopping tips and information here.
Pick Your Own Farms Near Baltimore, MD

Baltimore Public Markets
While most city's public market systems died out long ago, Baltimore's six public markets are still going strong. Though Lexington Market and Cross Street Market are the best known, all Baltimore's public markets offer a good variety -- some selling meats, seafood, produce and flowers alongside cell phones and cigarettes.
