Independent grocers:
- Family-owned Santoni’s, a small supermarket in Southeast Baltimore known for its Italian goods, delivers throughout the city and many places in Baltimore County, including Towson, Dundalk and White Marsh.
- Gourmet grocery Eddie’s of Roland Park offers delivery but not online shopping. Phone in your order to a personal shopper.
- Safeway.com brings groceries to parts of the Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County.
- Giant Foods delivers to parts of Baltimore and Howard Counties.
While most charge delivery fees, these are often waived for new customers. And, who knows, at home you can’t get sucked in by the clever supermarket displays of things you don’t really need, so you may actually save money.
