Grocery Delivery

Save Time and Money: Have Groceries Delivered to Your Door

From , former About.com Guide

Does it feel like you're at the grocery store every day, constantly picking up essentials, but never really filling your pantry? Break that cycle by grocery shopping online. Sit down with a cup of coffee and peruse the aisle of one of Baltimore’s supermarkets from the comfort of your home or office. Several stores in the metropolitan area now offer grocery delivery.

Independent grocers:

  • Family-owned Santoni’s, a small supermarket in Southeast Baltimore known for its Italian goods, delivers throughout the city and many places in Baltimore County, including Towson, Dundalk and White Marsh.

  • Gourmet grocery Eddie’s of Roland Park offers delivery but not online shopping. Phone in your order to a personal shopper.

Chain stores:
  • Safeway.com brings groceries to parts of the Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County.

  • Giant Foods delivers to parts of Baltimore and Howard Counties.

While most charge delivery fees, these are often waived for new customers. And, who knows, at home you can’t get sucked in by the clever supermarket displays of things you don’t really need, so you may actually save money.
