First Day of School
Here are some important dates and information to help you get ready for the 2007-2008 school year plus information on Anne Arundel and Harford County schools.School starts on August 25, 2008 for these schools:
- Baltimore City
- Baltimore County
- Harford County (K-12)
All Anne Arundel County elementary schools and grades 12 and 6 start on August 25. All students 1-12 in school on August 26. Staggered start dates for kindergarten August 27-29 with all kindergarten students in attendence on September 2. And staggered start dates for pre-K August 28-September 2. Most Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore as well as many private schools also begin on August 25. However, many begin the school year with half days, so check individual school for schedule.
