Description: Intensive morning and afternoon workshops in drawing, clay sculpture, printmaking, cartoon design and kinetic sculpture may be purchased separately. Courses are offered at both MICAs Mount Royal campus and at the Ward Center for the Arts at the St. Pauls School. Supervision during lunch costs extra, but lunch is not provided.

Description: Professional art educators at the Walters Summer Camp Program guide campers on tours of the museum as well as through creative activities that encourage exploration of world cultures. Art supplies and snacks are provided. Half or full day sessions.

Description: This pottery studio gives kids the chance to create with 3-D masterpieces. From sea creatures to African masks, the week's theme gives kids the starting place and instructors give them the tools, but each child's imagination is the driving force.

Description: The 25 participants in this camp work on techniques and acting skills as well as learning about the history of the theater. Daily topics include improv ccting, comedic acting, audition preparation, voice and projection, movement and dance, stage combat, musical theater, make-up and other technical aspects of theater.

Description: A national company conducts this rock star wannabes camp at The Park School in Brooklandville. Experienced musicians and absolute beginners join together to form bands. Kids can write and record original songs as well as design a posters and album covers. The end of each session culminates with an evening concert.

Description: Baltimore County Community College's Performing Arts Adventure is a three- or four-week program designed to build kids' theatrical talents in singing, acting, dancing, costuming, make-up, staging and critiquing. Roles are assigned based on the students desire and willingness to work, not skill level. The camp culminates in two performances. Students may take any 3 of the 4 weeks, but in doing so, they may not be able to fully participate in all performances.
