Undefeated in his four starts as he entered the Preakness, Big Brown won the 2008 Preakness Stakes with a time of 1:54.80 and 5 1/4 lengths over second place Macho Again. Icabad Crane came in third. After taking the Kentucky Derby title two weeks earlier, Big Brown now goes on to the Belmont Stakes for a shot at the Triple Crown.
