Catering to families and business travelers, this downtown hotel has a playroom and meeting spaces, plus all the other amenities typical of Residence Inn, i.e. suites, breakfast, weekday teas. One block from a Metro subway stop, the hotel is convenient to Johns Hopkins Medical Campus via public transportation. However, most visitors to Baltimore, who are not going to Hopkins Hospital, will not find Baltimore's public transit system useful as it is mostly designed to move commuters in and out of the city.
