Baby Elephant at Baltimore Zoo Sleeping
See photos of the 290-pound male elephant calf born at 9:07 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2008 at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. The mother, 24-year-old Felix, delivered the calf in the Elephant Barn after a relatively short labor. This is the first baby elephant ever born at the Baltimore Zoo. Ravens Cheerleaders Tryouts
The Baltimore Ravens hold an open tryout usually in early March for the Ravens cheerleading squad. The organization offers prep clinics for a fee usually a month in advance of the audition date. The two divisions for the auditions are Co-Ed Stunt and All-Female Dance.
